My name is Zhanna Altsybieieva, I am a practicing psychologist.
My journey into psychotherapy began not only with education but was closely tied to my personal experiences. Depression, difficult relationships, persecution, and the loss of my closest person—these challenges helped me understand how the human psyche works and taught me to be more empathetic and attentive to others' pain.
Having moved to the United States, I, like many others faced adaptation difficulties in a new country. I overcame the immigrant syndrome through immersion in a new culture and changes in my personal life. Marriage and motherhood only strengthened my desire to work in the field of psychology and help people find a way out of difficult life situations. I believe that a psychologist who has gone through their own crises can better understand their clients and offer them more effective help.

How long does psychotherapy take?
There is no universal answer to this question, because every person is unique. We can work on short-term issues or dive into a more extended therapy process—it all depends on your needs and condition. But one thing I know for sure: the more you immerse yourself in the process, the easier and happier your life becomes.
Psychotherapy is one of the ways to take care about yourself, along with proper nutrition and exercise, and all this regular work will bring powerful results.
My Area of Interest in Work

Psychological support in overcoming the consequences of trauma helps to find the strength to heal and return to a full life.

If you are facing any of these problems or need support with something else, I invite you to a first meeting. . Many of my clients come with one specific problem, but therapy often leads to an overall improvement in their lives.
The greatest value for me is the client's result. The greatest miracle is when a client "spreads his wings", his eyes light up and he understands that he can overcome any difficulties.
